GENERAL INFO:
$35-$60/hour DOE.

Work:
half from home/half on site at various locations around San Diego.
San Diego-based only, no exceptions.
You'll need to have a car and be able to drive around San Diego 2 days/week (Monday-Thursday)
You'll need home internet and a place to work.
You'll need experience in Microsoft Windows desktop support, LAN/WAN networking.
You must be physically able to install basic things like computers, wifi, and related peripherals.
You must be able to pass a background check.
Start: 15-20 hours/week.

This can go up to 25-30 hours/week after 3 months (or sooner), and have the opportunity to build up to 40 hours/week over time.

Benefits will also build over time, and will include health, PTO, revenue-sharing.
Initial pay depends on experience and self-starter ability.
Referral and other monthly bonuses possible.
Weekend work available for more hours but not generally required.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Support very nice end-users at multiple client sites
MS Windows 10/11 desktops (and a few Windows servers)
General IT troubleshooting, research
Stay up-to-date on current IT threats and trends
Add layers of security
MS 365/SharePoint, Google Workspace admin
Basic IT stuff. Set up user accounts, reset passwords, etc.
Configure Security/RMM Software
Compliance
Backups
Inventory
Firewalls, VPNs, general LAN/WAN networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Hardware maintenance (installing RAM, hard drives, etc.)
Research, implement new software and equipment
Research, implement fun new client projects
