Responsibilities and Duties

Work with a fastpaced web team to produce highquality and innovative digital projects using WordPress and an array of other web development tools, with emphasis on frontend design and features
Take responsibility for a large portfolio of existing website projects including ongoing support, security and performance enhancements, and new feature integrations
Collaborate to improve and expand our product and service offerings, as well as client relationships

Qualifications and Skills

35 years of experience in a similar environment desired
Strong development expertise using core tools HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP;
Experience working with WordPress, building custom WordPress themes and/or plugins, and configuring content using custom fields
Strong interpersonal communication skills and comfort working with clients across various industries
Familiarity working in a collaborative development workflow using virtual development environments, version control systems, and command line interface to support the deployment and maintenance of web projects
Detailoriented approach to editing and testing websites for accuracy, usability, and accessibility
Familiarity with SEO best practices, structured data protocols, social media integration, website analytics, and other online marketing strategies to promote ongoing website growth
Strong portfolio of web development work
Comfortable working as part of a busy creative team; agency experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain websites using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
Collaborate with designers to implement website designs
Write welldesigned, efficient code using best practices
Test websites across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices for responsiveness and compatibility
Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely resolutions
Optimize website performance and ensure high levels of security
Stay uptodate with emerging web development trends and technologies

Skills:

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and related web development technologies
Experience with or similar state management libraries
Familiarity with APIs and integrating thirdparty services
Knowledge of serverside technologies such as or Tomcat
Understanding of responsive design principles
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
Strong portfolio of previous web development projects
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
