Description
OTHSolutions is seeking a qualified individual to lead a team of national security and program support consultants focused on providing strategic planning, policy, and governance support for a homeland security program.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:- Identify information resources and key stakeholders to conduct research, interviews, literature reviews, and datamining to support the analysis and development of strategic plans, as well as accounting for endstate goals and mitigation of projected challenges.
- Draw upon our understanding of the mission, stakeholder equities, and cascading impacts of strategic drivers on operations to then anticipate the process and potential issues, and construct a range of creative successful options and recommendations reflecting differing perspectives.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct inter
- Develop and manage plans, linked to programmatic strategies, with a clearly defined series of sequenced activities, products, benchmarks, and performance metrics to achieve the client's objectives.
- Perform technical edits of deliverables to ensure compliance with the agency style guide and for proper grammar/punctuation, as well as substantive review of deliverables to ensure all equities are accounted for and that mission alignment requirements are met.
- Conduct program management support functions, including project planning, execution, monitoring and reporting activities.
- Leverage extensive technical expertise in public policy, strategic planning, and project management in the national security space to support successful advancement, coordination, and implementation of client's priority initiatives.
- Leverage extensive domain expertise to advise clients on strategic issues, with complex organizational sensitivities, and potential courses of action in realizing programmatic objectives.
- Provide guidance to and oversight of team members in implementing assigned duties.
Minimum qualifications required for the position include:
- Undergraduate degree.
- 5+ years of experience; 1+ years supporting DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
- Indepth knowledge of critical infrastructure protection doctrine, political, and industry stakeholder landscape.
- Demonstrated proficiency providing strategic planning, public policy, governance development, and program management services.
- Experience developing metrics and/or monitoring project performance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build coalitions across complex groups of stakeholders.
- Proven, resultsoriented problem solving abilities and initiative.
- Experience providing consulting services to government program managers.
- Ability to collaborate and thrive in a dynamic teamoriented and hybrid work environment.
- Track record of providing exceptional program and/or project management support.
- Located in the Washington, D.C. / National Capital Region.
- U.S. citizenship.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- In-scope Top Secret security clearance.
- Current DHS suitability.
