    Position Overview

    : We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Insurance Broker to join our Private Equity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers, negotiating terms and conditions, and working hand in hand with producers on RFP presentations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our Private Equity Team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and nurture relationships with insurance carriers to secure competitive and comprehensive insurance products.

    2. Analyze market trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and optimize existing offerings.

    3. Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with insurance carriers to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients and maximize profitability.

    4. Prepare and present proposals, providing expert guidance and recommendations.

    5. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated and holistic insurance solutions.

    6. Provides coverage and program design advice and expertise

    7. Stay informed about industry developments, emerging risks, and best practices to enhance expertise and support informed decision-making.

    8. Work with producers and other team members on RFP's and new business opportunities.

    9. Work with our due diligence team on acquisitions and pricing out NewCo insurance programs on a case to case basis

    10. Be a trusted advisor and role model internally, helping to prmote the existing Lockton culture

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, with a focus on commercial insurance products. Preferred National Account experience and knowledge for both Casualty and Property.
    • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers and retail brokers.
    • Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and market dynamics.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
