About the Role:


We are currently seeking a passionate General Manager to join our team at Ciel Social Club or Treehouse Rooftop and lead all aspects of our day to day operations.

The GM will be responsible for curating an exceptional and captivating dining experience while also overseeing the operational aspects of the establishment.

This dynamic role combines culinary expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.


Essential Duties / Responsibilities:


Enhancing Atmosphere and Ambiance:

Elevate the rooftop bar and lounge's ambiance to ensure it remains an appealing destination for patrons, continuously seeking innovative ways to create a memorable atmosphere.


Culinary Oversight:

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and execute an enticing menu that complements the rooftop setting, incorporating seasonal specials and ensuring consistent high-quality food and beverage offerings.


Marketing and Promotion:
Devise and implement effective marketing strategies to attract a diverse customer base and increase foot traffic. This includes hosting special events, themed nights, and promotions to drive revenue.


Inventory Management:

Maintain optimal inventory levels of beverages and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring that the bar and lounge consistently offer a wide variety of options to customers.


Financial Management:
Monitor the financial performance of the rooftop bar and lounge, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue maximization. Identify opportunities for profit growth and cost savings.


Staff Development:
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by coaching and mentoring staff, encouraging professional growth, and recognizing exceptional performance.


Entertainment and Events:
Plan and coordinate live entertainment, DJs, and special events to enhance the overall guest experience and increase customer engagement.


Health and Safety Compliance:

Enforce and uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring that the rooftop bar and lounge remains a safe and clean environment for both customers and staff.


Guest Relations:

Maintain strong customer relationships by personally engaging with guests, addressing their feedback, and resolving issues promptly to exceed their expectations.


Community Engagement:

Establish connections within the local community, partnering with neighboring businesses, and participating in community events to enhance the bar and lounge's reputation.


Sustainability Initiatives:
Implement environmentally responsible practices, such as waste reduction and recycling, to contribute to a more sustainable operation.


Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including alcohol licensing and food safety standards.


Technology Integration:

Embrace technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance guest experiences, and optimize efficiency in areas such as reservations, ordering, and payment processing.


Financial Reporting:

Generate regular financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management on the performance of the rooftop bar and lounge.


Required Skills / Abilities:


  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable with P&L's, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Must have a hands on approach and be able to lead by example


The Manager of our Rooftop Bar and Lounge plays a pivotal role in curating a vibrant, memorable, and profitable establishment.

$75, $100,000.00 per year
