Description

Our client is a non-profit company that provides support and resources for other organizations. They are seeking a Chief of Staff to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k – $130k

Position Overview:

The Chief of Staff will be responsible for the supervision of the administrative staff and will support a non-profit organization with fundraising and planning.

Responsibilities of the Chief of Staff:

Determine and prioritize decisions, prepare materials, and brainstorm strategic objectives.
Liaise between executives and board members.
Schedule Zoom meetings, take minutes, and send agendas and meeting minutes.
Responsible for assisting with compliance with policies and procedures.
Draft letters, emails, reports, and other correspondence.
Strategic planning and policy development.
Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
Maintain accurate confidential files and data records.
Supervise and direct the work of the administrative support staff.
Draft and track the legislation of related stakeholder groups.
Assist with the creation and distribution of slide decks, budget materials, action alerts, and other initiatives.
File all required annual reports and lobbying disclosure reports.
Coordinate and manage annual membership events.
Coordinate and assist with internal and external communications.
Manage the relationship with the service provider.

Qualifications for the Chief of Staff:

3+ years of relevant work experience.
Management experience.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom.
Remote work experience.
Coming out of a smaller organization.
