    Director of Dental Program

    Position Summary: Lead dental care by overseeing providers and the dental team to ensure high-quality, efficient care. Direct program operations, fiscal management, and provide technical expertise and supervision. Conduct patient care, diagnoses, and treatments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Direct Care:
      • Examine and develop treatment plans for patients.
      • Maintain accurate dental records.
      • Treat dental diseases and injuries, advising on dental health practices.
    • Collaboration:
      • Coordinate with Clinic Operations and Nurse Managers.
      • Participate in clinical meetings and committees.
      • Foster community partnerships.
    • Compliance:
      • Develop and enforce care policies.
      • Ensure regulatory compliance and staff adherence to policies.
      • Conduct chart audits and maintain peer review processes.
    • Staff Management:
      • Supervise dental staff, ensuring training and orientation.

    Qualifications:

    • DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited program.
    • Preferably completed GPR or AEGD residency.
    • NYS dental license, DEA registration, BLS certification.
    • Medicaid-enrolled provider with mandated continuing education.
    • Proficiency in dental procedures, with two years related experience preferred.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
