What you will be doing

  • As an experienced expert, you will inspect and evaluate electrical or control engineering components and systems in nuclear facilities from a safety perspective, as well as in terms of design, construction, and function.
  • You will independently carry out inspections, retrofits, and commissioning, and develop solutions and optimization proposals for electrical or control engineering issues within a team.
  • You will analyze incidents in the field of electrical and control engineering in terms of their respective effects and the potential transfer of safety-related consequences.
  • You will assess electrical or control engineering components and systems in the context of decommissioning nuclear power plants and storing radioactive waste.
  • You will represent the results of inspections and assessments to customers, regulatory authorities, manufacturers, and operators in a cross-functional manner.

What sets you apart

  • You have completed a technical degree in electrical engineering (power engineering, automation engineering, telecommunications engineering) or a comparable discipline.
  • You have relevant professional experience in nuclear facilities in one of the following areas
