    Pay Rate: $25/hour to $27/hour

    Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing manufacturer of freeze dry products, is seeking a dynamic Human Resource Assistant to join their Albion NY HR team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will involve a variety of HR activities.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

    • Responsibilities of the Human Resource Assistant include handling HR-related tasks with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, and fostering employee engagement.
    • The successful candidate will primarily focus on recruiting and staffing for production roles, managing the full employment cycle from recruitment to exit.
    • Using ADP, the selected candidate will oversee onboarding for new hires and off-boarding procedures for exiting employees.
    • By employing a comprehensive recruitment strategy, they will collaborate with company leaders to identify staffing requirements, develop precise job descriptions, post job opportunities, and recruit suitable candidates.
    • This position will take charge of organizing and facilitating employee engagement events.
    • The role will also involve addressing employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and company regulations.


    REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

    • 1-2 years of prior experience in Human Resources recruitment.
    • Proficiency in both Spanish and English is highly desired.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • High school diploma or equivalent education.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office and previous experience with HRIS systems.
    • Detail-oriented approach with the capacity to produce precise work and adhere to instructions consistently.

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

    • AS/AA Degree or BA/BS Degree.
    • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: - Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

    • Capability to work occasional shifts outside regular hours.
    • Readiness to work overtime as needed.
    • Dependable and punctual attendance.
    • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.


    Compensation details: $25-27 Yearly Salary
