- Able to define communication plan needs in support of the business/project, and to be able to lead documentation of key communication needs, in preparation for presentation
- Ability to lead full business requirements analysis efforts and begin to manage scope changes relevant to the business requirements. Able to collaborate appropriate with business to identify possible solutions and coordinate with possible solution providers (i.e., IT)
- Lead efforts to effectively engage/partner with project team/cross-functional teams to elicit and appropriately document business processes and requirements. Including current and future state, as well as ability to identify and document resolution recommendations for gap management
- Able to lead project documentation efforts, including identifying what's appropriate for the project and business need. Providing direction and consistent and repeatable levels of quality
- Able to create a communication plan and effectively manage expectations across the project team. Able to identify key and peripheral stakeholders and SMEs, for the purposes of engagement for business requirements management, risk and gap analysis and status updates
- High School diploma
- 3+ years of business analyst experience
- Experience in a working in a matrixed enterprise environment
- Proven solid communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated excellent time management, organizational, prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Ability to gain acceptance for ideas, plans, actions and then implement across organizational boundaries
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
- Proven excellent facilitation and relationship building skills
- Business operations strategy definition and execution in a matrixed organization

The Senior Business Analyst will conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
