    Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst with expertise in requirements gathering and a solid understanding of Azure DevOps.

    As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing project requirements.

    Your focus will be on understanding the needs of stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects within the organization's Agile development environment.


    This position requires in-office attendance in one of four locations in the United States, two days per week (Minnetonka, MN; Akron, OH; Tampa, FL; Plano, TX).

    Remote candidates are not being considered.

    Responsibilities


    Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, project managers, developers, and end-users, to identify and define project objectives, scope, and requirements.

    Conduct comprehensive requirement gathering sessions to elicit business and user needs, translating them into clear and concise user stories and functional specifications.

    Analyze and validate requirements, ensuring they align with business goals, technical feasibility, and compliance standards.
    Utilize Azure DevOps to manage and track project requirements, user stories, and feature backlogs.
    Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the requirements and facilitate smooth project delivery.

    Employ industry best practices and methodologies to document and maintain requirement artifacts such as use cases, process flows, and system diagrams.

    Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups, to provide insights into requirements and project progress.

    Proactively communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations, address concerns, and facilitate a transparent and efficient development process.
    Perform impact assessments for proposed changes to existing systems or requirements.

    Conduct periodic reviews of completed projects to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives.

    Requirements

    Proven experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on requirements gathering and documentation.
    Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly in an Azure DevOps environment.
    Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools and capabilities for managing requirements, user stories, and sprints.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders of varying technical levels.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
    Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with software testing processes.
    Proficiency in process modeling and requirements management tools is a plus.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile (e.g., CSM, CSPO).
    Experience with other project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
    Familiarity with cloud technologies and services, especially Microsoft Azure.
