    Software Quality Assurance Manager

    As a

    Software Quality Assurance Manager , you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

    Your responsibilities will span managing a quality assurance team, implementing testing processes, and maintaining compliance with quality standards and business requirements.


    Role Overview:

    Team Leadership :
    Lead, mentor, and manage a software quality assurance team, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with project goals.

    Testing Process Management :
    Implement and oversee testing methodologies to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.

    Test Evaluation :
    Evaluate test results against expected outcomes, recommend process improvements, and explore alternative testing approaches.


    Test Planning and Documentation :
    Draft, revise, and approve test plans and scripts to guide the testing process.

    Team Building :
    Embrace ConnectPay's Core Values and ensure that the team functions with these values in mind. Provide both positive feedback and areas where team members need improvement.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Quality Assurance Management :
    Lead the software quality assurance team, providing guidance and support.
    Select and utilize tools and methodologies for effective software testing.
    Ensure that software tests identify defects and comply with quality standards.


    Test Evaluation and Improvement :
    Evaluate test results, identify areas for enhancement, and recommend process improvements.
    Explore alternative testing methods when needed.
    Expand automated testing suite.


    Test Planning and Documentation :
    Draft, revise, and approve comprehensive test plans and scripts.
    Maintain clear documentation of testing processes and outcomes.


    Collaboration and Reporting :
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts and product owners. Provide regular reporting to function managers and senior leadership.


    Performance Testing :
    Establish benchmarks and monitor the impact potential releases.


    Qualifications:
    Experience : 5+ years' experience in managing projects that are overly complex

    Education :
    A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related technical field


    Skills :
    Strong analytical skills for evaluating test results.
    Clearly communicates QA results, concerns, and project status to management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
    Passionate about quality software and product excellence.
    Ability to partner with Agile project teams.
    Ability to lead, develop, and mentor QA team members.
    Payroll systems knowledge a plus.
    Ability to research and provide solutions to issues.
