Your tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for independently planning and implementing process optimizations to increase capacity and efficiency of systems, as well as handling service orders internally and in international plants.

Tasks

Analyzing process failures, machine downtimes, and product errors, including deriving specific optimization measures for the causes
Preparing detailed test planning and conducting experiments
Conducting experiments to reduce cycle time, improve functionality, and optimize processes and quality
Creating test plans and reports for process optimizations, feasibility studies, or changes, including technical documentation
Actively supporting plants in process optimizations for systems
Close collaboration with departments for analysis and finding solutions for service projects
Training and production support for our production plants
Creating work and assembly reports

Your qualifications

Completed technical university degree (e.g. in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, medical technology) and at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar area
Sound knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes and automation technology
Knowledge of glass forming processes and composite techniques (e.g. bonding or welding) is advantageous
Excellent knowledge of statistical experiment planning and interpretation of test results
