Description
Under the direction of the Cardiovascular Services Manager and the charge nurse, performs procedures in the angiographic suite.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
setting up a sterile field ; assisting physician with diagnostic as well as interventional procedures; completion of all necessary documentation and paperwork pertinent to each case; processing of digital images through the department Imaging Archive System; keeping room clean and clear of clutter; transporting patients; communicating with family, physicians and involved ancillary staff; covering call on a rotating basis including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
