What You'll Get to Do:
Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership over planning, scheduling, and risk management activities.
  • Lead and grow high performance technical teams to innovate and execute both shortterm and longterm project goals.
  • Manage the technical staff as they execute programs for multiple government customers, including applied research, integration, and transition phases.
  • Work with project managers to manage budgets, schedules and staffing.
  • Provide staff leadership and oversight to include hiring, performance management, career development, technical direction, and workload management for your teams.
  • Establish process improvements to increase product quality, efficiencies and overall customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Develop systems development life cycle (SDLC) products to include technical requirements specifications, system architectural design documents, test plans, formal design reviews, and technical summary reports
  • Provide rigorous and quantitatively backed engineering estimates for development and tracking of project budgets and schedules
  • Create and champion wellconsidered technical approaches that meet project budget and schedule constraints
  • Support technical coordination of multidisciplinary technical teams including both software and hardware development, system integration, and release to achieve project objectives
  • Review and consult with synergistic program teams on plans, schedules and scope of work for specific projects and provide engineering options to maintain stability and coordinated approaches across teams
  • Provide program managers and engineering management regular engineering reports to ensure alignment of project objectives, product strategy and technical solutions
  • Produce wellpolished technical documents, reports, and presentations for customers (DoDAF familiarity is a plus)

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited university and 10+ years of experience in a technical field related to Signals Intelligence or other MULT-INT technologies
  • 5+ years technical supervisory/management experience
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical architectures and implementations associated with complex Multi-INT and distributed intelligence solutions to Customer Leadership and Subject Matter Experts
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including active listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • High degree of attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision while maintaining cooperative, force multiplying relationships with peers within the company

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • MS or PhD degree in System Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience interacting with government contracting and acquisition processes
  • Experience delivering mission capabilities through iterative development processes
