Description
This temporary position will assist full-time grounds-keeping staff during the summer season (approximately May through October) to perform a variety of lawn care work and other general maintenance duties at the District's property at the Buckingham Airfield.
- Must be able to operate a variety of small equipment, tools, and vehicles such as edgers, trimmers, weed eaters, riding lawn mowers, chain saws, utility vehicles, etc.
- Must be able to work a regular schedule of Monday
- Friday, 6:30 am 2:30 pm and be able to work up to six full months if necessary
- Must be able to work in all types of weather, including high temperatures and humidity, as the position regularly works outside, exposed to sun, rain, mud, and insects
- Must have a Class E driver's license with an acceptable driving record
This is a non-benefit-eligible, temporary seasonal position that will start in June and will last as long as needed but will not last any longer than six months.
