    The Newport Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse, who is interested in an environment where growth is supported in long term care The starting rate is at $23-$32/hour, based on experience, with a $3,000 sign on bonus This facility is located in Newport News, VA.

    Each resident has unique needs, which means each Practical Nurse will develop an exceptional skill set that will be transferable into many other healthcare settings.


    Scheduling Options:
    Flexible Scheduling options, including 8 and 12 hour shifts
    Full Time and Part Time available
    Day and Evening shift


    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and holds current Virginia license.
    • Experience/education in Gerontological Nursing preferred.
    • Computer knowledge preferred.
    • While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, turn, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, reach, talk, hear, taste and smell.
    • Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 50 pounds.
    • Risk of exposure to blood borne pathogens and hazardous materials.

    OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:

    • Hourly (Non-exempt)
    • Two week notice is required for voluntary termination of employment
    • Eligible for shift and weekend differential
