    Description

    Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

    Job Purpose


    Perform a range of Materials planning and logistics activities supporting the plants.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Carry out on-site packaging and material dimensional review at appropriate Dana facilities
    • Use plant systems to maintain supplier and material information.
    • Act as liaison between plant personnel and supplier to support MP&L projects.
    • Support change management projects including engineering changes, resourcing, and new launches.
    • Conduct inventory analysis reports
    • Support use of Plan for Every Part
    • Perform all job responsibilities, duties and projects assigned, in a legal ethical manner consistent with current policies, procedures and industry standards.
    • Review and extract systems & ERP information for freight and inventory optimization.
    • Accomplish assigned project and prepare report out for MPL leadership

    Education and Qualifications:

    • Enrollment in a Supply Chain Program
    • MRP Experience – experience with SAP, Oracle, & QAD preferred.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge of planning activities.
    • Must be able to work effectively with others.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
    • Must have effective communication and analytical skills.
    • Proven work experience (not necessarily technical work experience)
    • Self-directed and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and accepts responsibility
    • Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision
