Job Overview:
Shriners Children's Philadelphia has an opportunity for a full-time Patient Financial Specialist (Monday - Friday, no weekends).


Responsibilities:


  • Primary uninsured
  • Pending Charity
  • Pending Medicaid
  • Insurance Denied.

Qualifications:

Required:

Associates Degree Preferred

3-5 year experience in financial counseling, insurance verification, registration in a medical office or hospital setting.

Comprehensive knowledge of Medicaid, insurance terminology, and third-party payer systems preferred.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) speaking and writing skills are Preferred.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to deal with confidential information.

Ability to communicate and interact with all members of the Shriners team in a professional and courteous manner.
