Your Mission


As a Cloud Security Engineer at Chelsea Cove, it is your responsibility to ensure the security and reliability of our OpenStack and Kubernetes-based customer solutions. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to meet their requirements while maintaining the integrity of our platform. Your main goal is to support our customers in the deployment, implementation, and optimization of their cloud infrastructures, while always adhering to security regulations and standards.

Your Tasks:

  • Implementation of highly available and secure systems regardless of the platform
  • Planning and implementation of customer projects on site, as well as troubleshooting, bug fixing, patching, and network work on distributed systems
  • Conception and implementation of knowledge transfer towards the customer and our parent company secunet
  • Development of best practices and processes for scaling and improving quality
  • Documentation and transfer of knowledge (technology, methods, and processes) to relevant stakeholders

What You Bring:

  • The ability to identify and solve complex technical problems, especially with relevant cloud-native applications (monitoring, databases, etc.)
  • You are able to communicate technical information and solutions clearly to customers and end-users, ensuring they can correctly implement instructions and recommendations
  • You have an eye for security requirements and are meticulous in their implementation
