- Assist Architects with Revit and presentation drawings
- Production experience producing full sets of construction documents
- Conducts research and analysis and ensures compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Coordinates with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery
- Participates in client meetings, presentations, and reviews to gather feedback and refine design proposals
- Actively tracks path to licensure, seeking requisite opportunities for experience necessary for growth
- Demonstrates enjoyment of working in teams, willingly contributing, and supporting colleagues to achieve project goals
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while recognizing the value of mentorship and guidance.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation is a plus.
- Acquires, understands, and applies technical and professional knowledge and skills to perform job effectively, efficiently, and safely. Understands and adheres to Huitt-Zollars policies and procedures. Stays abreast of trends and pending changes within assigned area of responsibility.

Job Summary: Huitt-Zollars Downtown Houston, TX office has an Architect III opportunity for our Public Works projects. This position is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and career advancement within an award winning design firm. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a fantastic team of architects. This role will assist the project architect and designer with Revit and presentation drawings.
