    Description
    LAW FIRM Pricing Analyst Role Available
    Not a Hybrid Schedule

    REMOTE WITH FLEXIBILITY (must be flexible to occasionally work in office & must live in a commutable range to one of the following cities) NYC, Wash DC, Houston, Dallas, Denver, LA, SF and Palo Alto, Orange County.

    Minimum 1 year of LAW FIRM FINANCE experience required


    The Pricing Specialist will be a key contributor in LAW FIRM billing rates and special fee arrangement administration as well as financial analytics on legal matters.

    This role reports to the Pricing Manager.

    Responsibilities include:
    Modeling matter profitability and providing scenario analysis to support pricing decisions for firm management.

    Researching and identifying existing/historical firm matters that may provide a baseline for billing attorneys in developing budgets for new matters.

    Creating analysis and designing reports or presentations to display pricing trends.
    Analyzing client performance data to identify pricing opportunities.
    Performing ad hoc analyses using the firm's various data stores and tools.

    Qualifications:
    General understanding of the fundamental elements of

    LAW FIRM pricing

    Able to work with large volumes of data and possess advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e., formulas, macros, pivots, data manipulation).

    Must be a proactive, self-starter who understands the details and can integrate them into a much larger strategic context.
    Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

    Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills are required to build and maintain effective relationships with senior management, attorneys and staff.


    Experience:
    BA needed in one or more of business, economics, law, finance, accounting, mathematics
    Minimum 1 year of LAW FIRM ENVIRONMENT business experience is required
