The Position:We are looking for a Compliance Specialist, who is willing to embrace McKinley's mission and H.U.M.A.N values.

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for the review and content compliance of any and all documentation submitted to the client record.

This is to include day to day department functions, interface with outside agencies to maintain current procedures, involvement in audits performed by regulatory agencies, conduct quality assurance activities and periodic record reviews of all active and discharged clients.


Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we're offering is $18.00-$22.00 hourly depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration or in any other related discipline preferred
  • Prior DMH Quality Assurance Experience including knowledge of IBHIS, EXYM and billing codes strongly preferred
  • EXYM
  • Must pass preemployment physical exam, TB and drug screening
  • Ability to commute to various sites on and off campus
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Ability to physically restrain children (if needed)
  • DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
  • Insurability Under Corporate Automobile Insurance

Key Responsibilities:


  • Track, process, and upload Initial Documentation
  • Track and support staff with past due documentation
  • Track, process and upload Annual Documentation
  • Track, process and upload Discharge all client records.
  • Staff Scoping for County provider numbers and access
  • Reviewing ORR documentation for compliance with regulatory and agency standards and to ensure they reflect a high level of care
  • Assist service delivery staff in completing/correcting documentation
  • Monitor the accuracy of records, documents, and billing and complete reconciliation of services as needed
  • Participate in required Quarterly provider meetings with state and county agencies
  • Report any and all documentation deficiencies and/or compliance concerns to the AVP of Contract Compliance and program directors.
  • Process, Review and submit ORR Billing
  • Review ORR Billing Reports for accuracy.
  • Organize and prepare records for visits and audits
  • Coordinate and or update any procedural and/or policy changes with the AVP of Contract Compliance
  • Update Network Adequacy, Access to Care Staff Information and Client Demographics in County networks.
  • Other related duties as needed.
