Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide care and treatment to patients.

Your role will involve assisting with therapeutic exercises, implementing treatment plans, and providing support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and assessing patients' conditions
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and range of motion
• Monitor patients' progress and document their responses to treatment
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency in providing patient care and support
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy, occupational health, and orthopedics
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide emotional support to patients during their rehabilitation journey
• Experience working with geriatric patients is preferred
