- High School or GED equivalent Technical School diploma.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in building, maintaining, and administrating relational databases.
- Strong understanding and experience in implementing database normalization principles.
- Minimum two (2) years of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming experience, specializing in maintaining legacy codebases. (Note: not VB.NET).
- Proficiency in writing efficient Structured Query Language (SQL) statements/queries in an optimization-focused environment.
- Experience with split Microsoft Access databases into separate frontends and backends.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access and Excel for design and editing purposes.
- Conduct regular maintenance and optimizations on existing Microsoft Access databases.
- Apply programming best practices and data integrity principles to ensure an accurate and complete overview of office tasks.
- Execute code tests and reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
- Engage in objective and milestone reviews with management to meet their requirements.
- Hold meetings with managers as needed to understand their processes better and offer more efficient solutions.
- Document existing code features and processes.
- Resolve any errors occurring during the use of in-house software.
- Understanding of GitHub, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server/SQLite is a plus.
- Experience in Front End Development is beneficial.
