- Troubleshoots minor equipment failures, prepares reagents, solutions, and control slides.
- Prepares reports and ensures that quality control criteria are approved by the pathologist.
- May provide training and modification of SOP's pertaining to Special Stains.

Education: Associate degree in accredited Histotechnician program -
Experience: 1 yr experience as a Histotechnician preferred. -
Certification: HT ASCP required; or must obtain within one year of employment (new grads) -
