Ability to travel to in Hartford County/ Middlesex County/ Tolland County/New Haven County/Windham and New London County if necessary

H.S diploma, Associates preferred. Must have
minimum 7 years' experience working with Children. Experience in Social Services, Human Services, Psychology or Similar as well.

Cases are assigned based on Referrals. Referrals may be Often or every few weeks it depends on the Departments needs

:

Staff Minimum is TWO contracted cases ( 2 hour minimum each) or up to 30 Hours worth of cases. Cases can be accumulated as they come along

:

• Set goals for performance and treatment in ways that comply with youths wants and needs

Car Insurance 50k/100k Minimum

:

Complete Mandated reporter training ( 1 hour)

:

-
Therapeutic support| Life skills mentor| Supervision monitoring and Mentoring capability for this specific position

:

• Ability to work in crisis situation's and act appropriately.
• Complete supervise visitation notes with quality
• Pay close attention to parental visits and engagement
• Receive complaints and resolve problems
• Treat youth with dignity and respect

Pick up and drop off of youth or parents at specified locations

:

• Participate in Youth events & Provide youth with meaningful activities and socialization during work hours if needed.
• Document events, incidents or conversations with family members.
• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises

Requirements

:

• H.S Diploma
• Ability to pass a DCF and standard Background check.
• Proven experience with Leadership
• Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
• Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
• Must be a Hard worker and have the ability to work in many difficult situations
• Professionalism
• Flexibility & Punctuality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Drivers Licensed Required
• CT Car Registration required
• Car Insurance 50k//100k
• Ability to work independently
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certified
• All other duties as determined by manager
