Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.


Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
• Load and unload bread, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Route Driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with courier operations and route driving is a plus
• Experience in warehouse or logistics operations is beneficial
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
