The
Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist will lead the development and evaluation of organization change management processes, fostering smooth transitions for employees during current-to-future state transitions.

The Organizational Change Management Specialist will focus on the people impacted by changes to technology, IT systems, technological interfaces, and associated business processes.

This Specialist will partner with project managers to develop and execute integrated change and program plans; coach executives and team leaders in promoting change adoption within their departments, create and drive strategies for faster and more complete adoption; and identify and manage resistance and risk.

The Specialist will have responsibilities including stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, communications, training, and reporting.

The OCM Specialist will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling university stakeholders to effectively adopt improvements and changes to technology and business processes in service of the institution's academic, research and service mission.

This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students.

This role will execute UCLA's vision while upholding UCLA's culture and values.
Salary & Compensation

  • UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications

  • 3 years experience working in one or more of the following fields: organizational change management, strategic communications, information technology, or another related field. (required)
  • Experience executing change management best practices on complex projects, including documenting change impacts and creating change plans. (required)
  • Experience in data visualization (e.g., Tableau or PowerBI), with a high aptitude for research, data collection, problemsolving, and identifying issues and trends. (required)
  • Experience delivering customerfocused service. (required)
  • Experience participating in activities to advance an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. (required)
  • 5+ years experience working in one or more of the following fields: organizational change management, strategic communications, information technology, or another related field. (preferred)
  • Experience in complex higher education environments, serving academic and administrative functions of a large public university. (preferred)
  • Advanced project consulting and management skills to ensure operations are running smoothly and deadlines can be met effectively. (required)
  • Strong skills in coaching and mentoring lower level staff. (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate technical information and ideas to a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders. (required)
  • Able to establish and advance positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members, stakeholders, and customers. (required)
  • Strong organizational skills and is able to balance competing priorities and support concurrent projects. Experience working in a projectbased environment using leading project management practices including schedule management, status reporting, and communication of project risks and issues. (required)
  • Strong demonstrated problemsolving skills; scopes solutions based on knowledge of available resources and timelines. Able to ask questions, gather information, evaluate options, and make decisions with integrity. (required)
  • Thinks creatively and proposes innovative ideas, including the incorporation of new technologies or processes. Is able to work with agility in a fastpaced environment. (required)
