Description
As a Dispatcher/Billing Clerk here at The Rooter Company, your role involves efficiently managing control sheets, technician appointments at customer locations and fostering seamless communication between technicians, customers, and the company.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and update schedules for service technicians, plumbers, and dispatching them as service calls are fulfilled.
- Ensure that technicians are providing live job updates through the CRM platform.
- Coordinate return trips with customers for outstanding job completion after the arrival of necessary parts.
- Maintain the oncall schedule for service technicians and oversee afterhours service procedures.
- Input service calls, arrange appointments, and generate daily call debriefings with technicians.
- Manage the customer database, ensuring accurate and uptodate entry of information.
- Address customer inquiries regarding the company schedule, lead times, equipment service, service invoicing, and general concerns.
- Respond to technicians' requests via both online platforms and phone communication.
- Follow up and schedule preventative maintenance service appointments.
- Review completed service work orders for accuracy.
- Prepare invoices for processing.
- Participate in companysponsored training classes.
- Effectively handle conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing concerns promptly.
- Uphold a professional image by adhering to safety policies and procedures, performance standards, and the code of ethics.
- Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of two years of experience in dispatch and coordination within a related industry. (preferred)
- Geographical knowledge of the service area and/or proficiency in map reading.
- Advanced communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Educational/Certification Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a personal computer and related equipment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Adequate auditory functioning and visual acuity to operate computeraided call management hardware, software, and communications equipment.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and potential exposure to verbal and/or physical confrontations.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, or weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation to a known disability.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Pay:
$ $24.38 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
