General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), a leading company in remotely piloted aircraft and surveillance systems, is offering a great opportunity for aviation or technical students interested in pursuing a career as an Aircraft Technician.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities involve assembly, test, and repair of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).
  • Must possess attention to detail, work well under deadlines, and be a team player.
  • Assist in installing electro/mechanical actuators, landing gear, fuel systems, and avionics systems.
  • Tasks include cable routing, component installation, and engine support system installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and meters.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Some extended work hours may be necessary.
  • Operates on a 9/80 schedule.

Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in hand tools.
  • Ability to work with laboratory equipment and follow procedures.
  • Willingness to work with unusual conditions.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.

Salary: $35,390 - $52,625
