For our client, a supplier in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for two Strategic Purchasers (m/f/d) in full-time in Vale Summit, MD.


Your responsibilities:

  • Strategic purchasing responsibility for a product group and project area
  • Experience in purchasing tooling/fixtures, individual components for tools, and complex tools
  • Understanding of technical drawings
  • Knowledge of eprocurement, preferably in a SAP-Ariba environment
  • Analysis of procurement markets and technologies and derivation of purchasing and product group strategies
  • Identification and realization of costsaving potentials
  • Conducting tenders, price negotiations, and contract management
  • Optimization of existing supply chain processes and participation in project teams
  • Processing and mapping of purchases in SAP or electronic ordering systems

Your profile:

  • Completed degree (Bachelor) in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field with additional commercial qualifications
  • First professional experience in strategic purchasing
  • Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of SAP
  • Negotiation skills and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
