We're actively seeking a talented Director Endpoint Engineering to join our Infrastructure & End User Services leadership team on-site in our state-of-the-art Newport Beach headquarters or one of our other modern offices or hybrid as we believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.


As a Director Endpoint Engineering, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by engineering solutions that enable our end user devices to be modern, seamlessly integrated into our digital workplace and ensure they are built, deployed and managed in a consistent, performant and secure manner.

You will fill a role that leads a team of 8 people within Pacific Life Technology.

Your colleagues will include other leaders across cloud, data center, identity, IT asset management, networking, security operations and service delivery and you will join a culture that looks to iteratively deliver, transform and optimize our end user computing and mobility environment.


How you will make an impact:
Lead service strategy, design, operation and continuous service improvement of enterprise level and global solutions aligned with departmental and organization goals
Collaborate with business and IT resources to analyze information and improve the employee experience surrounding end user device utilization, performance and behaviors based on metrics and employee feedback
Lead teams consisting of consultants, engineers and managed service provider members responsible for the design, installation, security and maintenance of our client-computing environment and technology solutions
Leverages data to drive automation and optimization initiatives across engineering capabilities, resulting in increased security and efficiency of the teams


The experience you will bring:

10+ years of experience leading an endpoint engineering team responsible for managing physical, virtual and mobile devices for a Forturne 500 business (prefer global scope)
7+ years of experience managing a Windows 10/11 environment using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune
7+ years of experience managing virtual desktop infrastructure consisting of at least one platform (i.e., Citrix, AWS Workspace, Windows 365 Cloud PC)
7+ years experience managing policy and configuration settings using Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Microsoft Intune (i.e., Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, Conditional Access Policies)
3+ years of experience managing a Mac environment using Jamf and Apple Business Manager
B.S/MS in Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience

Base Pay Range:

$175, $214,940.00
