  • 2+ years of experience in one of the following areas: eCommerce, Sourcing, Replenishment, Buying/Procurement, or Merchandising
  • Ability to work within strict time frames/resolute deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize and draw conclusions on large amounts of data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational multitasking and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peers

Desired

  • Bachelor's Degree related field
  • Any exposure to Kroger Category Management system data warehouse, business objects, 84.51 and Vitacost systems
  • Any assistant category management experience
  • Own the eCommerce shopping experience for designated categories endtoend
  • Identify and provide promotional items/retails to Promo Planning team
  • Drive product sourcing process by shopping competition, understanding industry trends, reviewing customer requests and vendor new product recommendations
  • Analyze, determine, and manage retail reductions, including nonpromotional items
  • Manage the department/category specific experiences
  • Design merchandising strategy for relevant portions of crosscategory site experiences and own assortment management and maintenance
  • Own assortment management/maintenance and item content which includes ingredient panels, romance copy, nutrifacts, and product images
  • Determine site merchandising updates, including taxonomy, search results, and department pages
  • Identify assortment needs through SKU rationalization, balancing new items with items that become irrelevant over time, and ensure the digital shelf always meets the customers needs
  • Support special projects and adhoc requests as needed
