OVERVIEW
***The dispatcher has the overall responsibility for managing all requests for routine non-emergency calls as well as emergency calls from the campus community and dispatching officers as required.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to operate successfully in a stressful police environment
  • Must possess analytical thinking and good judgement
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Emergency Dispatch Training preferred
  • APCO certification preferred
  • Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
