- Work in collaboration with all functional areas to design and develop products that meet customer specifications and company requirements for schedule, cost, production ability, quality and reliability.
- Conduct technical analysis to validate designs, requirements and traceability ensure design meet intended requirements.
- Perform detail FPGA design and implementation in VHDL to satisfy DO-254 guideline.
- Prepare and review technical reports/documentation necessary to satisfy customer, internal and program requirements, including specifications, design documents, test plans/procedures, reports, correspondence, etc.
- Establish and maintain proactive communication channels with customers, suppliers, and internal organizations as required to meet project goals
- Experience in designing, developing and qualifying aircraft components.
- DO-254 experience.
- Embedded experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical discipline. (Master's Degree Preferred).
- Minimum Ten (10)years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
- Possess a strong background in project engineering
- Must have experience in the design, validation and verification of: Requirements, Design and Implementation of VHDL code for programmable logic devices. Prefer to have experience in Aerospace product development process.
- Experience with DO-254 and IPC standards
- Knowledge of embedded digital circuitry and software control.
- Knowledge of circuit design and development with microcontroller/microprocessor based systems.
- Knowledge of equipment utilized in support of testing similar/related Electronic, Aerospace and/or Defense products
- Ability to perform technical writing assignments in generation of test specifications, hardware requirements, and customer proposals.
- Good technical writing and verbal communication skills with proficient computer skills in common office software programs.
- Demonstration of a very cooperative, helpful attitude. Team members in all areas of the facility will be required to aid in developing a positive relationship between Engineering and all plant levels.

In summary you will be responsible to maximize product performance by researching, designing, developing and sustaining electronic or electrical products and systems.
Participate in engineering design review and testing of products.

This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home.

Salary range:
$148,300 to $175,800. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
