    Description
    Compensation:
    $34.78/hr-$48.59/hr + SIGN-ON BONUS
    (based on years of experience)

    Additional Compensation-
    Eve Shift: $1.50
    Overnights: $2.50
    URC: $6.50
    Weekend Premium: $1.00

    Hours: Monday through Friday 3PM - 11PM
    Weekend Call rotation and Holiday Rotation

    Job Summary:
    Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams in accordance with established procedure s.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Interacts with patients, providers and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
    • Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic MRI images.
    • Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
    • Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
    • Monitors patient while performing scan for any safety concerns such as overheating, discomfort etc.
    • Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    When functioning as a Lead :
    • Serves as a resource and provides technical guidance to staff Technologist
    • Provides feedback to supervisor to assist with staff performance reviews
    • Develop and maintain the schedule
    • Edit and approve time and attendance
    • Performs new employee department and position orientation
    Qualifications:
    Minimum Education/Work Experience
    • Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology
    • Registered by the ARRT in MR (Employees cross-trained have 1 year from the completion of training to become certified)
    • Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
    • CPR Certified
    • Lead: 3+ years of MRI experience
    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    • Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on MRI images.
    • Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
    • Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations.
    • Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
    • Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Imaging locations.
    • Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above.
