- Technical Certificate and/or Associates Degree in Radiology

- Current Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Fairview Health Services is hiring a MRI Technologist to join our Magnetic Resonance Imaging department at our M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital location in Edina, MN.
Southdale offers 24/7 Imaging services to Inpatient Units and Emergency patients. Outpatient Imaging is offered 7 days per week. The technologist's work collaboratively within the Imaging team and amongst varying levels of clinical practitioners.
The multi-specialty imaging technologist will provide imaging services to a wide variety of examinations from Neuro, Body, Musculoskeletal, Breast and Vascular.
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities.
The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).Schedule:
This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12-hour shifts primarily assigned to the night shift (6:00PM - 6:00AM).
Positions within the department are not regularly scheduled to take on call services.
This position will work 3 days for week 1 (Sunday - Tuesday night) and 2 days for week 2 (Wednesday & Thursday night).
Every other weekend will be an extended weekend off.Department open to cross-training for this position
