As a
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Partners in Recovery, you will play a crucial role in providing holistic care to individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments to evaluate the impact of substance use on mental health.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing medication management and prescribing appropriate medications to address mental health concerns.
  • Offering counseling and support to individuals and their families, fostering a therapeutic and trusting relationship.
  • Participating in case conferences and team meetings to ensure coordinated and integrated care.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Educating patients on medication management, side effects, and selfcare strategies.

Job Requirements:

Master's Degree with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with Psychiatric Nurse/Mental Health Practitioner specialty, and one (1) year of experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
