The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for conceiving and designing custom automation equipment using SolidWorks software.

Responsibilities of the Machine Design Engineer:

Create, design, and layout special machines utilizing engineering principles, knowledge, and related experience.
Conceptualize machine designs and select materials.
Create models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks software.
Size mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, pulleys, sheet metal, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping.
Provide machine assembly and troubleshooting support.

Desired requirements of the Machine Design Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but may not be required with the right experience.
Prior experience as a Machine Designer, preferably in material handling, assembly, or automation.
SolidWorks software experience, but Inventor, CREO, Pro-E, AutoCAD, or any 3D software experience will be considered.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and servos is a plus.
Technical ability, team-oriented, and attention to detail.
Project Engineering experience is a plus.
Structural experience is a plus.
Must be a US citizen or have a Green Card.

Benefits:

Pay ranges between $70,000 - $110,000.
