Job Summary:


As a Machine Operator in our warehouse dedicated to serving the solar panel field, you'll be instrumental in the manufacturing and distribution process of heavy steel pipes crucial for solar energy infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining machinery involved in the fabrication, handling, and transportation of these materials.

Your precision, safety consciousness, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment will directly impact the efficiency and success of our solar projects.


Responsibilities:

Machine Operation: Skillfully operate various machinery and equipment essential for the production and processing of heavy steel pipes, including cutting, bending, welding, and coating machines.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. Identify and address any deviations promptly.

Material Handling: Safely handle and transport heavy steel pipes within the warehouse premises using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Ensure proper positioning and securement to prevent damage during transit.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to uphold optimal performance levels. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain workflow efficiency.

Inventory Management: Assist in the management of inventory levels, including tracking stock movements and replenishment needs. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and report any discrepancies or shortages as required.

Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines to uphold a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly and participate in safety training programs as necessary.

Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to achieve production targets and ensure seamless workflow coordination. Additionally, be receptive to any additional tasks or assignments requested by your supervisor and promptly carry them out to contribute to the overall success of the team.

Documentation: Keep meticulous records of production activities, including machine logs, quality inspection reports, and inventory documentation. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for reference purposes.

Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and reducing waste. Provide suggestions for process enhancements and participate in problem-solving activities as needed.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in machine operation or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with proficiency in operating heavy machinery.
  • Valid certification or license to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or hoists is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Physical agility and strength to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Working Conditions:


  • Work environment may include exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
  • Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs and steeltoed boots.
  • May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overtime, based on production schedules and project demands.

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
