    About the Job -WarehouseManager(CEMid-South)

    TheMid-South regionof Carrier Enterprise, LLC sells residential and commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products,partsand supplies through dealers (independent companies that sell, deliver and service Carrier products to residences and businesses in their respective markets).

    The Warehouse Manager supervises the performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition and storage ofproduct,suppliesand equipment into and from this facility.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinates material flow within organization
    • Improveswork flowprocesses to increase productivity, ensures work force safety and manages warehouse inventory
    • Directly supervises and assigns tasks to Warehouse Associates based on business need and customer priority
    • Supervises the performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition and storage of materials,suppliesand equipment into and from warehouse
    • Significant involvement in scheduling and routing of equipment/supplies delivery with our onsite trucking partner
    • Communicates directly with customers and coordinates efforts with the sales team
    • Supervises and assigns tasks to Warehouse Associates based on business needs and customer priority
    • Supervises the performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, receipt, and storage of supplies and equipment
    • Prepares, monitors, and maybe responsible forbudget, staffing, and or business/operational results of a functional team or project
    • Directly manages individual contributors. Some overnight travel in assigned territory will berequired
    • Coordinates material flow within organization
    • Improveswork flowprocesses to increase productivity, ensures work force safety and manages warehouse inventory
    • Oversees the partnership with LTL (less than a load) providers including cost control, damage claim rate, and customer satisfaction
    • Ensure IB/OB shipments areaccurateand free of damage
    • Maintain discipline in use of forklifts (maintenance, speed control, etc.) along with safety of all equipment
    • Maintain safety focused environment and encourage "zero recordable incident/time loss"
    • Provide mentorship and talent development for Warehouse associates

    Requirements

    Skills
    • Experienced forklift operator/warehouse shipping and professional, with at least5-7years supervisory experience
    • Experience withNxTrendis highly desirable
    • Successful candidate will be proficient in basic PC skills as well as Microsoft Office
    Minimum Qualifications andExperience

    High School diplomarequired.BSCollege degree preferredwithminimumAA College degreerequired
    • Fiveto tenyears of warehouseoperational experiencerequired
    • Excellent customer service skills, computer skills, and attention to detailrequired
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsrequired
    • HVAC experience preferred
