OUR CLIENT

Our client is a leading global company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and supply of metalworking fluids. They are a leader in providing custom chemical solutions to their customers.

In Europe, the company offers a wide range of metalworking products, including water-based and straight oil coolants for metal cutting and grinding. They have their own sales branches in nine European countries and also work with distributors in other countries.

THE ROLE

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and developing business relationships with both current and potential customers and distributors. The main goal is to maintain strong and profitable relationships. This role also includes sales and marketing responsibilities, such as planning, budgeting, and achieving sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting sales targets set by the company and developing annual and long-term plans for the area.
  • Organizing and structuring sales activities, including regular visits to main customers, opportunities/leads, and distributors in the area.
  • Managing specific global/European accounts and helping to develop growth strategies and pricing agreements for those accounts.
  • Identifying new business and sales opportunities and potential new markets for products and services.
  • Collecting and reporting on market trends, competitive products and pricing, and updating the CRM database.
