Fine Gardening Team Leader

Full or Part Time seasonal position from March/April to November/December

Understands, performs and directs seasonal fine gardening tasks as assigned on daily Job Tickets

• Empowers crew to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Manages task flow throughout the day
• Completes work as expected and budgeted
• Represents the face of the company through professionalism, advanced horticultural knowledge, presentation of vehicle, uniform and job site, as well as willingness to engage with clients
• Participates in some Saturday workdays between April 1October 31, outside of regular schedule
• Teaches by example and coaching during the workday.
• Ensures that the NOFA Organic Land Care Standards are adhered to at all times
• Submits Daily Notes on each job ticket in LMN on work completed and lists incomplete work for rescheduling by the end of each workday
• Keeps and submits an accurate time sheet in LMN of own daily hours on client sites.
• Reminds and instructs staff on site as needed in accounting for individual timekeeping and notes in LMN
• Checks that all crew are wearing designated neat and clean uniforms and are outfitted with a complete set of standard issue PBOG hand tools in good working order
• Keeps assigned company vehicle or personal car stocked with group tools, materials and plants as required for daily work
• Discusses staff issues directly with Field Manager or Operations Manager
• Discusses client issues or recommendations directly with Field Manager or Operations Manager
