Medical Receptionist
Luxura Aesthetic Medical Spa is a full-service, private practice in New York, NY.

Job Summary:

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for the daily operations of the front desk and insurance verification.

This position requires a team player who works well with others and is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The Medical Receptionist will also be responsible for insurance verification, patient scheduling, answering phones, and assisting with administrative duties.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet all patients by name and check in patients using our medical software
• Schedule patient appointments and collect copays and coinsurance amounts as needed
• Answer all incoming calls, including but not limited to: physician's office, referring physicians, etc.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify insurance information
• Check in patients using our medical software
• Answer all incoming calls, including but not limited to: referring physicians, etc.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify insurance information
• Check in patients using our medical software
• Answer all incoming calls, including but not limited to: referring physicians, etc.
• Schedules patient appointments using our medical software.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed such as: insurance verification, scheduling, etc.
• Maintain front office filing systems such as: patient records, physician orders/instructions, xray requests, etc.
• Perform other office duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour


Healthcare setting:

• Med spa

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (preferred)
