We are seeking a Grinder to join our team in east Houston.

The Grinder reports to the Production Supervisor and grinds and smooths areas of metal parts to remove defects, sharp edges, scratches, and excess material.

Responsibilities:

Verifies that equipment is correctly set up to process the material and that appropriate PPE is in good condition
Grinds parts to remove imperfections and creates a smooth, highquality product
Operates equipment in the manner for which it was intended
Follows all company policies and procedures
Maintains an orderly, clean, and neat workplace
Identifies equipment issues and immediately reports to management
Attends all safety and training meetings as directed
Assists in training of coworkers as requested

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to identify imperfections in metal material
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong math aptitude
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
