For our client, a large provider of social facilities in the metropolitan region of Nuremberg, we are currently seeking a Deputy Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) for direct placement.

Your responsibilities

Assuming the deputy operational and strategic leadership of the accounting department within the company network
Responsible for ongoing liquidity control with corresponding financial reporting and credit monitoring
Leading a team of 12 employees in collaboration with the department head
Together with your team, you will prepare monthly and annual financial statements for individual companies and ensure the consolidated financial statements (HGB) including the management and implementation of consolidation
Optimization of accounting processes and development of further balance sheet strategies in cooperation with the department head

Your profile

Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration (FH or university)
Experience in financial accounting and personnel management is essential
Experience in analyzing complex relationships and developing strategic and operational solutions
Proficient in working with management information systems and financial accounting programs
