JWA is a brand new company in the Kokomo area looking for Maintenance Technicians to join their team.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of various machines throughout the plant.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of machines to identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees on the floor
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance needs
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years experience of machine maintenance is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Familiarity with basic electrical systems and ability to read schematics
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- Strong customer service skills

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Electrical skills
- Must have experience with pneumatics
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
