- Deals cards to players as appropriate according to established rules and regulations.
- Exchanges paper currency for playing chips or coin money. Verifies beginning and ending chip money and money balances and confirms supporting documentation. Receives fills and distributes credits.
- Ensures that wagers are placed before cards are dealt, roulette wheel is spun, or dice are tossed. Monitors game and notifies manager of any disputes, problems or concerns with either a patron or the progress of a game.
- Promotes and encourages positive customer relations.
- Announces winning number, color or hand to players.
- Verifies beginning and ending chip money and money balances and confirms supporting documentation. Receives fills and distributes credits. Exchanges paper currency for playing chips.
- Recognize internally issued promotional coupons and handles as appropriate.
- Computes payable odds to pay winning bets; pays winning bets and collects losing bets.
- As needed will perform duties related to a full time floor by performing the following:
- Implement procedures and monitors performance of personnel to ensure smooth and efficient gaming operations in accordance with Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming procedures and gaming enterprise's internal controls.
- Oversees operation and conduct at gaming tables.
- Coordinates dealer schedules and ensures that assigned tables are properly and sufficiently equipped.
- Handles customer complaints/compliments.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Supervises employees in the Table Games department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training, monitoring employees; planning, assigning, and directing work and disciplining employees
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- High school diploma or G. E. D. equivalent
- Minimum of two years table games experience.
- Ability to obtain Gaming License.
