Job Description

As a masseur and medical bath attendant in Lake City, you will help people feel healthy and comfortable in their own skin in a natural way.

You may relieve chronic back pain with underwater pressure jet massages or use electrotherapy to reactivate weak leg muscles after a fracture.

To keep rheumatism patients mobile, you may provide gentle joint training or treat acute inflammation with ice packs.

Your helping hands are also in high demand in the fitness and wellness sector, where you massage away muscle tension for athletes or help your stressed guests relax with aroma oil treatments.

Masseurs and medical bath attendants have extensive knowledge of the human body, its muscles and joints, as well as organs and skin.

You work closely with doctors and other therapists, and are self-sufficient and responsible for your own work.

With a doctor's prescription, you create individual therapy plans after a thorough examination and in consultation with the patient, and implement them.

To provide the best possible treatment for each patient, you need dexterity, expertise, and patience. During your training, you will acquire extensive knowledge of various massage techniques. Anatomy, hygiene, and pathology are also part of the curriculum.

Subjects such as pedagogy, psychology, and sociology complement your expertise, as it is important to establish a good patient-therapist relationship.

This allows you to effectively explore the causes and backgrounds of complaints.

You will put your knowledge into practice
